Occupational Therapy (OT) that improves quality of life, and supports individuals in their daily activities.
Our Occupational Therapy (OT) services for adults are dedicated to enhancing independence, improving quality of life, and supporting individuals in their daily activities. Our experienced occupational therapists work closely with clients to develop personalised care plans tailored to their unique needs and goals.
Our Approach
We understand that each client has unique challenges and aspirations. Our approach is holistic, including physical, cognitive, environmental factors and more to provide comprehensive care. We collaborate with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Occupational Therapy Services We Offer
Rehabilitation
Post-hospital Rehabilitation: We provide support for individuals recovering from surgeries, and acute care including orthopaedic and neurological procedures. Our goal is to help you regain mobility, and function to maximise independence.
Neurological Rehabilitation: Our team is skilled in working with conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis, and Parkinson’s disease. We focus on maximising independence and improving quality of life.
Home Modifications
We work closely with all relevant professionals and community services to offer coordination of home modification.
- We assess your home environment and recommend modifications to enhance safety and accessibility. This may include grab rails, ramps, stair climbers and dissibility access.
- We work with experienced builders to ensure high-quality modifications that meet your specific needs
Assistive Technology and Equipment Prescription
We provide experienced recommendations and training for a wide range of assistive devices, including mobility aids, specialised seating, and daily living aids.
Our goal is to empower you with the tools and knowledge to perform daily activities with greater ease and independence.
Support for Older Adults
We provide experienced services designed to help older adults remain in their homes for as long as possible, maximising independence and fostering autonomy and safety. This includes falls prevention, cognitive assessments and strategies to manage dementia, and other age-related and chronic conditions.
Education and Training
We believe in empowering our clients through education. Our therapists provide training on energy conservation, cognitive strategies, safe mobility practices, and techniques to manage daily activities effectively.
We also offer caregiver training to ensure that family members and support workers are well-equipped to assist with daily care needs safely and effectively.
